Welcome...

There are several blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many fine pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…

You still here? Cool...let's see...

Pendle Hill

On a freezing cold day in January, we set forth to conquer Pendle Hill; twas Andy, Steve and I. We set off from the Nick of Pendle and took a well-trodden path to the top. It was a really pleasant walk, one I had done only once before and that was in mist 30 year before. Today the views were clear, the skies bright, but the cold was bone-embracing.

Quite busy for a cold January day, with many wanderers blowing off the cobwebs or getting out and about in the new year, the views were excellent. No witches though, will have to complain to trip advisor…
