As part of our October Scotland trip to Drymen I took a trip to the iconic Conic Hill. It was a hill I had wanted to climb for a while as it is part of the West Highland Way. There was Steve, Andrew and I that day – Andy was bagging a Munro elsewhere. We set off from Drymen and joined the West Highland Way. My co-walkers were recovering from dodgy legs so it was a gentle walk, taking in the ‘Way.’
The views on the top of the hill were quite something – the loch, the hills around. Although this is not a Munro, it is still worth a trip. We ended in Balmaha and had a few beers before getting the bus back to the cottage. Maybe soon you will read of me doing it again when I do the full West Highland Way?
