There are several blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many fine pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…

 Warton Crag is a hill that I really should have done before I actually did! A huge sheet of black rock it stands proud for all to see and the walk itself is a fun cliff edge jaunt. This walk was almost two years ago, so I am playing catch up a bit! 



We parked at the carpark that looks at the crag then made our way to the path and along. There was Steve, Jake the dog, Steve’s daughter, Cheryl and her daughter and quite a few of her fiancé’s family. A biG group and a fine little walk, rounded off with a fine pint in the pub after.
