In October 2023 Steve, Andy, Andrew and I went to Drymen for a short break and the first hill of the trip was Ben Lomond, the most southerly Munro and a hill I have passed many a time on the way to various destinations.
It was Andy and I as the other two had dodgy legs at the time, and we parked up at Rowardennan which overlooks the beautiful Loch Lomond and set off as a short shower began.
Thankfully it passed and the rest of the walk was clear, but gusty at times.
We took the well-travelled path to the summit and took in the views. This is a favourite of many a hill wanderer. It certainly is in my top hills. The well worn path.
