Ah, Nicky Nook, a great little hill to blow off the cobwebs and not far from where I live as well. Readers of this blog-thing will have noticed I go up here a lot and this time it was Amy, Callum and me. We parked at its foot and walked along the road and tackled this little hill passing the stream and reservoir and through the wood and up. Attacked by annoying horse flies as we ascended, though. The top was clear and fine, but I could not help thinking of little Jake our dog, who scaled this hill many a time with us.
Welcome...
There are several blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many fine pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…
You still here? Cool...let's see...
