Welcome...

There are several blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many fine pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…

You still here? Cool...let's see...

About

There are many blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many decent pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…

You still here?

Ok, well I am Paul (as the title of this blog may suggest), and in 2019, as a new year’s resolution, I decided to start walking again and set myself a target of a hill walk once a month. I'd always been an avid walker, having bagged all the Wainwrights and around 80 Munros, but had neglected walking a lot over the previous years, save for the odd wander up Nicky Nook in the Trough of Bowland, up Skiddaw or a trip to the Scottish Highlands. This blog was intended to show my monthly walks, plus looking back at other fine walks I have done. Maybe not every month, but as many as possible...
