Welcome...

There are several blogs on the internet detailing other people’s walks up hills and mountains in the UK, there are many fine pages showing routes up various fells, many of which will be better than this blog. So, why bother reading my blog? No reason at all, so I guess you might as well move on…

You still here? Cool...let's see...

Creag Mhor – Sept 2024

In September 2024 we took a trip to Killin where we stayed in a stunning apartment overlooking Loch Tay with spectacular views of the Ben Lawers hills (I chose the place, of course). Our first hill of the trip was Creag Mhor. It was me, Andy, Steve, Mark, Andrew and newcomer to this little site Ross.

It was a long but rewarding track walk for Andy and me, while the rest took bikes. After this track was an arduous trek up to the top of the hill, with never-ending false summits. A clear day, thought, with lots of good views. Our long walk back was rewarded with a few pints in the Falls of Dochart Inn.
